Attendance Officer job summary

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3pm. A flexible finish time of 2.30pm can be considered.
Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term-time plus 5 INSET days)
Contract: Temporary - Maternity Cover with 1 month's notice period

Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Attendance Officer with high expectations, bursting with fresh ideas and excited about putting them into practice?

We wish to appoint an excellent and experienced Attendance Officer for 30 hours each week.

Applicants must be well organised, experienced, positive, enthusiastic and able to build good relationships with parents and will the first point of contact to all parents and visitors to the school.

As well as experience you will require a positive approach as well as patience and resilience with the ability to use your initiative, work independently as well as part of a team.

The successful candidates will:

  • Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed to our ethos and values.
  • Have previous school / attendance experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Be committed to high standards and continued professional development.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
