What skills and experience we're looking for
York High School is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Attendance Support Worker to work with Pastoral and SEN leaders to improve the attendance of identified pupils.
The successful candidate will need to be confident and able to communicate effectively with students, parents/carers and staff. They will be required to travel independently to the homes of pupils and therefore should have their own car and insurance for business use. They will also be approachable and able to work collaboratively with parents/carers. It would be advantageous to have a working knowledge of SIMS and be a confident user of IT systems.
The trust will be undertaking a job evaluation exercise in the near future and, therefore, the grade for this position may change.
