Attendance, Welfare and Pupil Support Officer job summary

This is a really exciting time join Heritage Multi Academy Trust. We are comprised of six schools (over 3200 children), which are all oversubscribed with strong Ofsted ratings. There is one large secondary school and five primary schools, all local to each other. The financial position of the Trust is strong and we are looking for an attendance, welfare and pupil support officer to join our central team.

The post is a key role within the Central Team of the Trust and will take the lead on supporting and challenging families where attendance has become a cause for concern. Our Trust is very much based around collaboration with schools empowered to manage their own day to day business, whilst drawing on the Central Team for a variety of services.

Our Trust was established in April 2025 and has grown to its current size in less than a year. We see scope for further growth in the future as we consolidate our current position. As a Central Team we are fully committed to empowering our schools and facilitating for them. Our Education Leadership Group (ELG) is pivotal in all decision making, particularly in this early development phase of our Trust. This post will support our Headteachers in improving attendance among targeted pupils. We always aim provide a first class service to our schools. You will play an integral role in helping us to achieve this. If you are a well organised, highly motivated, with an eye for detail and an empathetic approach, we would love to hear from you.
