What skills and experience we're looking for
Join our dedicated academy pastoral team and play a vital role in supporting student success through excellent attendance. We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to lead attendance across an assigned Key Stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take accountability for all aspects of attendance within your Key Stage, working closely with pastoral teams to implement robust systems that encourage high attendance and address persistent absence through legal and strategic interventions.
- Act as a role model for best practice in attendance procedures, supporting the day-to-day operations of the attendance team and ensuring students arrive on time, in correct uniform, and ready to learn.
- Build strong relationships with students and families, challenging poor attendance and working collaboratively with parents and carers to overcome barriers to learning.
