Hamford Primary School is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and dedicated individual to lead our Autism Hub.
About the Role
As the Autism Hub Lead, you will:
* Develop and oversee the provision within our Autism Hub, ensuring a high standard of education and care for pupils with autism.
* Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, families, and external agencies to create tailored learning plans that meet each child's needs.
* Provide expert guidance and training to colleagues, building an autism-friendly culture across the school.
Monitor and assess progress, ensuring all children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
What we are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* A strong understanding of autism spectrum conditions and strategies for supporting children in a primary setting.
* Proven experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN), particularly autism.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
* A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children and their families in a space where every child's potential is celebrated and nurtured!
