We are looking for an experienced and committed Autism Hub Manager to lead and develop our specialist Autism provision, The Ark, at Lift Hamford. This is an important role within the school, ensuring pupils with autism receive the high-quality education, care and support they need to thrive.
Working closely with the SENDCo, you will oversee the day to day running of the Hub, lead a small specialist team and ensure provision is inclusive, ambitious and responsive to individual needs. The role brings together leadership, specialist teaching and partnership working with families and external professionals to support pupils' progress and wellbeing.
Lift Hamford is a vibrant school within the Lift Schools network that achieved a good inspection in November 2022 and serves our coastal community. We strive to ensure that children get the best opportunities to achieve the highest possible outcomes and that high quality learning is at the heart of everything we do.
You will:
* Lead and manage the Autism Hub and support pupils with autism across the school
* Line manage a team of Learning Support Assistants within the provision
* Monitor pupil progress and adapt support to secure strong academic, social and emotional outcomes
* Work closely with teachers, families and external professionals
* Lead EHCP reviews and contribute to annual review meetings
* Promote inclusive practice and share effective strategies with colleagues
You will need to bring:
* Qualified Teacher Status and experience working with pupils with autism or complex SEND
* Strong knowledge of autism-informed practice and inclusive strategies
* Experience working with EHCPs and supporting annual reviews
* The ability to lead a team and build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
* A calm, organised and thoughtful approach when supporting pupils with additional needs
