Leeds Mathematics School (LMaS), in partnership with Purposeful Ventures, Axiom Maths, Future Foundations and The GORSE Academies Trust, is seeking to recruit an Operations Director to support the delivery of the 2026 Axiom LMaS Summer School taking place at LMaS from Wednesday 22 to Friday 24 July.

The Operations Director will ensure the safe, smooth and professional running of the summer school for pupils aged 12-14 from across Leeds and the wider region. This role is of great importance to our mission of providing high‑quality mathematical enrichment for young people with the heart and the head for maths, especially those who are disadvantage-experienced.

If you are the ideal applicant, you will have:

  • A strong experience leading operations for education programmes, with the organisational skill to manage complex, fast‑moving logistics.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, enabling confident liaison with staff, pupils, parents and venue teams.
  • The ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, staying calm under pressure and making sound decisions in a live environment.
