About the Role

Discovery Schools Academies Trust Ltd are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistant. The successful candidate will be committed to providing inspirational and motivational environment for children afterschool/Breakfast club/WAC provision. First and foremost, we are seeking an inspiring, committed leader and team player.

We will provide opportunities for our children to play, explore and learn, recognising their fundamental need to be physically active, to be cared for and to be nurtured according to the individual child’s needs.

You will provide a safe and secure environment for the children in your care to explore, grow and have FUN!

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 NVQ or CACHE or working towards (Desirable)
  • Paediatric First AID (Desirable)

Experience:

  • Experience of working with children in a play, childcare or out of school setting
  • Experience of making inviting snacks (Desirable)

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of safeguarding and Health and Safety procedures
  • Ability and willingness to undertake professional development
  • Empathy with children and young people
