Before and After School Club Assistant x 3
Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit three permanent, three part-time Before and After School Club Assistants, based at Corsham Primary School (two at our Pound Pill site and one at our Broadwood site).
Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.45am to 8.45am plus 3.00pm until 6.00pm, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)
Salary range: D4 £24,404 pro rata, per annum (actual salary £11,055 per annum).
Start date: 10th February 2025
We would like to recruit three Before and After School Club Play Assistants to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who access after school provision. To plan and organise a range of stimulating activities suitable for Primary age children, considering the children’s interests.
Duties will include:
To ensure that the health and safety needs of each individual child are met at all times by ensuring that activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner and injuries and emergencies are dealt with following the proper procedures
To ensure that food provision is balanced and healthy and in line with the Food Safety Act 1990 and ensure good hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
To engage children in purposeful play and activities.
To support with home learning and other relevant activities when appropriate.
To support in all aspects of the running of the provision.
