Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit two permanent, part-time Before and After School Club Play Leaders, based at Corsham Primary School (one at Pound Pill site (SN13 9YW) and one at Broadwood site (SN13 0LX).

Hours:
20 hours per week, 7.45am – 8.45am plus 3.00pm to 6.00pm, Mondays to Fridays, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days).
Salary:
G12, £28,163 pro rata, per annum (actual salary £12,758 per annum).

Corsham Primary School is located in the picturesque Wiltshire market town of Corsham, near Bath, and is arranged over two sites located at either side of the town. Pound Pill site offers 14 classes and the Broadwood site houses 10 classes, both supporting children from Reception to Year 6. Role overview
We would like to recruit two permanent Before and After School Club Leaders to manage the day to day running of the Before and After School Provision providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who access the provision. To plan and organise a range of stimulating activities suitable for Primary age children, considering the children’s interests.
Duties will include:
To lead the day to day management of the before and after school provision.
To provide line management to a team of play leaders, directing their work, supervising their activities and inducting new staff members.
To work with play leaders to provide care, as well as play opportunities and activities in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, with regard to the individual developmental needs of the children.
To implement and regularly review all policies and procedures for the before and after school provision.
To maintain all records relating to the before and after school provision in accordance with data protection and freedom of information legislation/regulations.
To liaise with the school team to administer bookings and organise the collection of fees, ensuring that any monetary transactions are handled and documented as directed by the School’s Business Manager.
To maintain records of staff attendance and manage staff absence and lateness.
