Before and After School Supervisor job summary

TITLE: Before and After School Supervisor

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 9am and 15:00pm - 18:00pm

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership & Management

Organise and oversee daily operations of the club.

Supervise and support club staff, ensuring effective teamwork.

Maintain accurate registers and records of attendance.

Childcare & Activities

Provide a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for all children.

Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development.

Ensure children are always supervised and follow behaviour expectations.

Health & Safety

Implement safeguarding procedures and ensure compliance with school policies.

Carry out risk assessments and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Administer first aid when required and record incidents appropriately.

Communication

Liaise with parents/carers professionally and positively.

Communicate effectively with school staff regarding pupil needs and concerns.

Administration

Manage bookings and payments in line with school systems.

Monitor resources and order supplies as needed within budget.
