About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor, passionate about making a positive difference to students learning experience. This role will involve you participating in all aspects of the management of students' behaviour and the prevention of poor conduct, with plenty of opportunities to learn and develop your skills.
You will work collaboratively within our friendly and supportive Behaviour team, and with a designated year group: being a mentor to students, participating in active classroom support and reflection room duties, and overseeing detention sessions after school. A key aspect of the role will be building positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's behaviour.
This role would suit someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to to motivate young people. You will have a background working with students of all abilities and experience of liaising with parents and external agencies. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies is essential. You will have excellent administration and organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
