Behaviour Coach
To commence March 2025
Maternity cover- 1 year fixed term contract
36 hours per week – 39 weeks per year (Term time plus training days)
Salary: Grade 6 £30,559-£34,314 p.a. FTE actual salary £25,802 - £28,972 p.a actual
Hours of Work 8:00am to 4:00pm Mon – Thurs and 9:00am to 3.30pm on Friday
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to become a Behaviour Coach for Shenley Brook End School. You will work closely alongside our Pastoral provision, supporting named students to manage their behaviour and access the full curriculum, in mainstream lessons, small group, bespoke programmes or one to one intervention. You will promote positive behaviour, working with students, staff, and parents/carers to manage behaviour proactively through well-defined routines, highly positive relationships, a restorative approach, and use of proportionate and personalised rewards.
The ideal candidate will: -
- Have previous experience of working with students/learners in a similar environment.
- Be a great communicator and team player.
- Have high levels of resilience.
- Have a sense of humour and be relentlessly optimistic.
