Part of the WMAT, Aspire Academy is a special school for children with SEMH identified as their primary need. As the school grows, with an exciting £2m development we are looking to appoint an outstanding Behaviour and Engagement lead. This is a new, non-teaching, pastoral role in the school and one that offers an exciting opportunity to support our amazing children to access education and achieve the best possible outcomes.
The successful candidate will:
- Be experienced and/or interested in SEN practices and provision with extensive knowledge of how to meet the needs of pupils with SEN or the capacity to gain this quickly
- Have a great deal of enthusiasm and can motivate and inspire all pupils to engage in learning
- Have excellent communication skills and build positive relationships with young people
- Be flexible, proactive and positive
- A supportive and enthusiastic staff team
