Behaviour Learning Support Assistant – Annexe

(Maternity Cover)

Salary: Band B Point 7-12

(£17,281.50 - £18,718.10 per annum)

Additional allowance - £500 per annum

29 hours 35 minutes per week

8:40am – 3:10pm, Monday – Friday, with a 15-minute break & 20-minute lunchbreak (both unpaid)

37 weeks of the year – term time only

Start Date: 3rd September 2025 (Training days 1st and 2nd September 2025)

Fixed term until 31.03.2026

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant with excellent behaviour management skills to take on a crucial role within our school in the alternative provision Annexe. The successful candidate should be familiar with SEMH and have previous experience of working with vulnerable children. They will possess the ability to make quick decisions and be a team player. The successful candidate will enable pupils with additional needs, including behaviour, to access learning through assisting them in understanding and managing their behaviour to enable them to become successful learners.
