Behaviour & Reintegration Officer job summary
Ormiston Horizon Academy is a successful and ambitious 11-16 secondary academy at the heart of our community. We continually strive to improve and be the best that we can be, and we encourage our staff to do the same, giving them access to frequent and exciting development opportunities.
We are currently seeking a Behaviour & Reintegration Officer to support the effective reintegration and ensure the continued learning of students who, for a variety of reasons, have spent time away from the main academy setting, or from timetabled lessons (for example, internal exclusion, suspensions, offsite directions, attendance issues etc).
The postholder will be responsible for developing and delivering bespoke and effective reintegration plans including the likes of reduced timetables, one to one interventions and coaching, and high levels of parental and staff communication.
The role includes assisting in the supervision of the day to day running of the academy’s internal exclusion rooms. In addition, supporting the Learning Intervention Centre (LIC) manager in the day to day running of the LIC, and delivering group and individual interventions within it.
