The Candidate

We are looking for someone who will be a key part of our Pastoral Support Team. The successful candidate will have high expectations and a commitment to raising standards. The individual will be able to help foster a caring and supportive learning environment for our young people. Your experience of pastoral care will place our learners’ welfare at the heart of the school. We are seeking a passionate and driven individual with good communication and organisational skills and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our students and their communities. The role of a Behaviour Support Assistant will involve providing student support within and beyond the classroom. From re-engaging individual students to supporting students to make wise choices, the role is varied. The ability therefore to work flexibly across all age groups and the confidence to deal with challenging behaviours is essential for this post. The ability to foster positive relationships with staff, students and parents/carers is crucial in this role.

This position is offered on a fixed-term basis for one year, subject to the availability of continued funding.
