Behaviour Support Manager job summary

As Behaviour Support Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders to lead on behaviour systems across the academy. You will manage day-to-day interventions including detentions, suspensions, on-call responses, and managed moves. A key element of your role will be leading our Reflection Hub, mentoring students and delivering targeted support to those experiencing behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate behaviour management systems, including detentions, on-calls, and suspensions.

Mentor and support students in the Reflection Hub to help them re-engage with learning.

Oversee reintegration plans and alternative provision transitions.

Work collaboratively with families, external agencies, and pastoral teams.

Monitor student progress and behaviour data, using insights to inform interventions.

Promote a consistent and restorative approach to behaviour across the school.
