The Acorn Centre is expanding and looking to add to our team. We are a small provision supporting schools within the DSPL 9 area. Our focus is on building positive experiences for children in a nurturing environment. This is a rewarding and challenging role that focuses on enabling progress across all areas of development and giving every child the opportunity to achieve their potential.

Proven experience working directly with children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties is essential for this role, along with having experience of working in or alongside external agencies.

We are looking for a special person who is emotionally robust and who can provide a holistic approach in supporting the needs of vulnerable children at risk of exclusion. An understanding of the reasons for behaviour choices is essential for this role and the ability to put strategies in place to support the child and school will be required.

The Acorn Centre is a therapeutic support for children who are at risk of being excluded from primary school. This role is part of an exciting development across DSPL9. Please see website for further information and more in-depth information www.theacorncentre.co.uk
