Biology Teacher (0.4 FTE)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Part-time (13 hours per week, 2 days)
Preferred Working Days: Monday and Tuesday

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students in the sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach KS3 Science and KS4 Biology (Years 9 and 10)
- Deliver high-quality lessons that foster curiosity and achievement
- Cover PACE sessions as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology and general Science
- Ability to motivate and support students of varying abilities

Watford Grammar School for Girls is a partially selective 11-18 girls’ school, founded as ‘The Free School’ in Watford in 1704 with a mission to teach girls, initially alongside their brothers, from the outset. This makes us one of the oldest girls’ school in the country.
