Early Years Room Leader

Band C: £25’992-£28’624

1 x 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, full year (Nursery open 8am-6pm)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Room Leader to join our warm and welcoming nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven leadership skills and a strong understanding of early childhood development to make a real difference.

This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children. We aim to provide a safe, happy and caring environment where children can learn skills, values and knowledge, laying a secure foundation for future learning.

You must hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education e.g. NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent and minimum 1 year of experience in a room leader or similar supervisory role. Have strong Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices and excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the daily operations of your designated room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.

Support and mentor team members to deliver outstanding care and learning opportunities.

Plan, observe, and assess children’s learning and development in line with EYFS requirements.

Build strong partnerships with parents. Carers and other professionals.

Maintain accurate records and uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and health and safety.
