Break and Lunchtime Supervisor job summary

This role supports the smooth running of the school day by supervising students during break and lunchtime and providing additional administrative support. The postholder will play a key role in maintaining a safe, calm and orderly environment, ensuring student welfare is prioritised at all times while supporting wider school operations. Key Responsibilities

-Supervise students during break and lunchtime, ensuring welfare, safety and appropriate behaviour standards are maintained.

-Monitor and manage behaviour in line with school policies, promoting a calm and positive environment.

-Ensure students are engaged in suitable activities and respond proactively to any concerns.

-Record and report accidents in line with school procedures and provide first aid where required (training provided).

-Support student wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately.

-Assist with supervision in communal areas to maintain a safe and orderly environment.

-Provide effective administrative support, including maintaining records, filing systems and school displays

-Work collaboratively across teams and contribute to wider school activities and events.

-Is well organised and able to manage competing priorities

-Works with sensitivity, confidentiality and professionalism when supporting students and colleagues.

-Is reliable, responsible and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

-Is willing to undertake first aid training
