Breakfast and Afterschool Club Assistant job summary
Job Title: Support Assistant – Breakfast and Afterschool Club
Hours: 8.00–9:00am and 3:30–5:30pm, term time only
Reports to: Office Manager
Job Purpose:
To assist in the day-to-day running of the breakfast and afterschool club, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for all children.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage children in a range of age-appropriate activities before and after school.

Assist with the preparation and serving of snacks and breakfasts.

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times, following safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

Help with setting up and tidying away resources and equipment.

Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers.

Support children in developing social skills through play and structured activities.
Person Specification:

Experience working with children (preferred but not essential)

Friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic
