Breakfast club and Afterschool Club playworker job summary

  • Burford Primary is a growing over-subscribed and successful school. We have a vacancy for a Breakfast Club Playworker plus an After School Club Playworker to join our friendly, highly effective and enthusiastic team. Our School vision is ‘Burford Best’, where we expect the best for you and the best from you.

    Breakfast Club Playworker 5 hours per week 7.30 am - 8.30 am Monday to Friday

    Afterschool Club Playworker 7.5 hours per week 3.00 pm. - 5.30 pm Monday to Wednesday

    Both positions are term time only.

    We are looking for someone who has experience of working with children in a school, nursery, or play setting. Have a friendly and caring manner with excellent communication skills and an ability to supervise and engage children in fun, safe activities before and after school.

  • You will need to have a basic food hygiene awareness (or willingness to train).

    Burford Primary School, as a member of ODST, is committed to safeguarding children and young people, All post holders in regulated activity are subject to appropriate vetting procedures, reference checks and a satisfactory DBS Enhanced check. Online checks may also be carried out to comply with keeping Children Safe in Education provisions.
