Breakfast Club Assistant job summary

Buckton Fields Primary School is a new two-form entry school which opened in September 2021 and an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Breakfast Club provision. We are looking for a warm, friendly and reliable Breakfast Club Assistant to support the day to day running of this wrap around care which provides a safe and enjoyable start to the children’s school day. We are looking for a team player who is able to welcome our children every morning with a smile. The successful applicant will be:

  • Flexible, motivated and energetic
  • Possess good communication skills and keen to work as part of a team
  • Committed to high standards
  • Interested in healthy eating and willing to undertake First Aid and Food Hygiene Training
  • Able to set up fun and creative activities to keep children engaged
  • Recognise the importance of play and relaxation opportunities
  • Understand the varied needs of primary aged children
