Breakfast Club Assistant job summary
The breakfast club provides a quiet comfortable space for reading, space for free play as well as more structured activities. Each morning a nutritious breakfast is provided, and the children are encouraged to help themselves, sit down, talk together, and then clear up their dishes: the idea is that our breakfast replicates as far as possible the atmosphere of a family meal.
4 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:30am-8:30am, Term Time only.

Duties will include, working alongside colleagues:
Preparing and serving food ( Food Hygiene training will be provided)
Knowing and putting into practice all relevant policies and procedures
Ensuring that the premises are safe, secure, and welcoming to all
Working alongside colleagues and in partnership with parents/carers to meet the needs of the children
Working alongside staff members to ensure that general tasks are completed at the end of sessions, ensuring that the space is left clean and organised.

Safeguarding:
Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check at the appropriate level. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a self-declaration related to their criminal record or any information that would make them unsuitable to work with children. Additional checks in relation to the Childcare Disqualification Regulations will be undertaken for successful candidates to junior academies. If you have lived or worked outside of the UK, additional information may be required from you to satisfy safer recruitment checks.
