What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidates will:
- NVQ Level1/2 relating to working with children 
- Experience of Working with or caring for children of a relevant age to those in the school 
- Interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with pupils and colleagues 
- Communication skills to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers 
- The ability to promote a positive ethos and good role model 
- Ability to work in accordance with the school’s health and safety policies 
- Ability to be flexible and to work on own initiative within school guidelines 
- Basic understanding of a child’s development and learning.
