Grade 1, (SCP 2-3) - £24,413 - £24,796 (pro rata to hours worked)  

What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidates will:

  • NVQ Level1/2 relating to working with children  

  • Experience of Working with or caring for children of a relevant age to those in the school 

  • Interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with pupils and colleagues 

  • Communication skills to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers 

  • The ability to promote a positive ethos and good role model 

  • Ability to work in accordance with the school’s health and safety policies  

  • Ability to be flexible and to work on own initiative within school guidelines  

  • Basic understanding of a child’s development and learning.
