Breakfast Club Assistant job summary

We are excited to be launching our school-led wraparound care provision and are looking to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Breakfast Club Assistant to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping a new provision from the very beginning, working alongside experienced colleagues to create a positive, welcoming start to the day for our pupils.

Working hours:
Up to 3 mornings per week (flexibility available)
7:30am - 8:45am

About the role:
You will support the delivery of a high-quality breakfast club, helping to provide a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children can settle into the school day. This will include:

  • Welcoming and supervising pupils
  • Supporting play and simple activities
  • Preparing and serving breakfast
  • Promoting positive behaviour and relationships
  • Ensuring children feel happy, safe and ready to learn

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children and can build positive relationships
  • Is reliable, flexible and works well as part of a team
  • Has a calm and caring approach
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Experience of working with children is desirable, but not essential — full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop their experience in a school setting.
