Breakfast Club Play Worker and Teaching Assistant job summary
The Headteacher and her senior leadership team are looking to recruit a new Breakfast Club Play Worker and Teaching Assistant. These two roles are combined for one successful candidate and the hours will be broken down as follows:
Breakfast Club Play Worker - Monday - Friday 07.15 - 08.45am
Teaching Assistant - Monday - Friday 08.45 - 11.15am
Main Responsibilities - Breakfast Club Play Worker:
- Assist in the preparation of snacks, cleaning away and washing up when required.
- To be responsible to a group of children as designated by the manager.
- Assist in ensuring that the children are safe at all times.
Main Responsibilities - Teaching Assistant:
- Supporting teaching and learning under the supervision of the Class teacher and SENDCo.
- Planning and running interventions to support pupil progress.
- Assessing pupil attainment and progress for a specified group of pupils.
- Ensuring the best care and guidance for pupils in a specified class.

Moulsecoomb Primary School is an Academy within the City of Brighton and Hove, located on The Highway, Lewes Road, minutes walk from Moulsecoomb train station and excellent bus links. The school is non-selective and non-denominational. We became part of The Pioneer Academy on 1st November 2021. As part of the trust, the whole school is currently receiving significant investment.
