We are looking for a dedicated Breakfast Club Supervisor to be responsible for the development and daily supervision of the Breakfast Club, providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.
- The successful candidate will work 6.25 hours per week (7:30am - 8:45am, Monday to Friday)
- This role is 38 weeks per year (term time only).
A Day in the Life:
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily supervision of the Breakfast Club, developing and maintaining high standards throughout to ensure the welfare of the children at all times.
- Ensuring children have access to appropriate activities to support their physical, emotional, social and intellectual development, giving consideration to families’ ethnic, cultural and linguistic backgrounds, ensuring the school’s Equal Opportunities Policy is adhered to.
- Maintaining the Breakfast Club to an agreed standard of cleanliness and hygiene before, during, and at the end of each session, and being responsible for all Health and Safety matters in the club to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all who use and work in the club.
- Supervising the safe escorting of children to ensure their wellbeing at all times.
What We're Looking For:
You are the perfect fit for our team if you have:
- Successful experience working with or caring for children.
- Knowledge of First Aid.
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety.
- An understanding of games and activities which support learning.
- The ability to establish rapport and respectful and trusting relationships with children, their families and carers and other adults.
