About Eden Girls' School, Coventry

Eden Girls’ School, Coventry is a Muslim faith-based secondary school for 11 to 18 year old girls, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. We opened in 2014 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism. We are extremely proud to be one of the highest performing schools in the country, with the 3rd best Progress 8 score nationally for our 2019 GCSE results. We were graded as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted during our first inspection in July 2017.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils. You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and in supporting and developing their learning. Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.

You will have:

GCSE in English and mathematics at Grade C or above.
Practical experience of working with children within an educational setting.
Experience of working with children with Speech and Language needs.
Ability to work one to one, in small groups and with whole classes.
Ability to plan own role in lessons including how feedback will be provided to students and colleagues on students’ learning and behaviour.

Eden Girls’ School, Coventry is a 700 place 11-18 Muslim faith-based girls’ secondary school.
