This academy has an Ofsted of “Outstanding” and requires an individual who is capable of driving improvements and raising standards.

The role encompasses a wide range of activities, and no two days are the same. As a senior member of the support staff team, you will have operational responsibility for a broad portfolio of non-teaching functions, including (but not limited to) financial transactional operations, human resources, estates and facilities, health and safety, data protection and compliance. Working closely with the principal and other executive leaders, you will ensure that business operations are efficient, compliant and aligned with the trust’s strategic priorities, enabling leaders and teachers to focus on the quality of education and student outcomes. You will line manage a portfolio of support staff and will act as the academy lead for data protection and compliance.

This role is for you if:

  • You hold (or are willing to work towards) a school business management qualification or equivalent.

  • You have substantial experience in administration, HR, or facilities management.

  • You are tech-savvy and know how to use data to make decisions.

  • You are a clear communicator who can handle sensitive situations with professionalism.

  • You want a career with purpose and are passionate about making a difference to children’s lives.
