Business Support Administrator
The Stockwood Park Academy is seeking an organised and hard-working Business Support Administrator to join our friendly and dedicated administrative team. You will work with the Principal’s PA and the office manager to help provide clerical and administrative support to the school office.

Key Duties
To assist the Head of School’s PA and work with the administrative staff team to support the work of the Academy.
Clerical and Administrative support to the school office.
Processing correspondence and documentation and preparing communications.
Responding to telephone and other enquiries from staff and parents
Providing Admin support to the Health & Safety Lead
Liaising as necessary with staff, students, parents, professional colleagues, external agencies and the public
Providing cover on reception as required.
The successful candidate will have
Experience within an office environment.
Experience of working in a school environment and using Arbor– desirable.
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and database management.
Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent including English and Mathematics.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of staff.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Ability to take accurate minutes.
Ability to work independently using own initiative and also able to work well as part of a team.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
A willingness to undertake additional training.

Salary AS 15-18 FTE £29,393-£30,859 dependent on experience actual pro rata salary £26,815-£28,152
Job Role Permanent, Full time, Term time +5 INSET days, plus 2 weeks, 41 weeks per yr, 37 hours per week, 8am-4pm Mon-Thu & 3:30pm Fri
