Business Support Assistant (Maternity Cover) job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a well-organised individual with excellent communication skills to join our close-knit front office team at Priory School.   The successful candidate will be a key member of the team that is the central communication and administrative hub for the school.   We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate a flexible and pro-active approach to their work with core qualities that include tact, diplomacy and discretion as second nature.

POST: Business Support Assistant (Maternity Cover)

START DATE:  November 2023 

CONTRACT TYPE:  Temporary - Maternity cover to cover until October 2024

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS:   37 hours per week/ 39 weeks per year 

SALARY: SENDAT SUPPORT STAFF PAY SCALE RANGE SP4-SP6

£23,114 - £23,893 per annum (full time equivalent) 

LOCATION:  Priory School, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

The Special Educational Needs and Academies Trust (SENDAT) is a Multi Academy Trust focusing on specialist provision and special schools. Its core aim is to provide for the continuum of special needs across the Eastern region.  

All SENDAT schools and alternate provisions have Trauma Informed practices embedded across the curriculum and SENDAT staff colleagues are given training and support to develop and use these skills in their day-to-day working.
