Business Support Officer job summary

We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our busy school office.  This role requires a calm, highly organised individual who is confident to interact with others and can work under pressure. Experience of working in an administrative or business support capacity within an educational setting would be advantageous.

The hours of work in this post are 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term-time + one week)    

The successful candidate will:

  • Be consistently positive, polite and professional
  • Be confident to interact professionally and form effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including parents, pupils, staff, outside agencies and members of the public
  • Have embedded strategies to manage an intensive and varied workload
  • Possess, or be willing to train to acquire, strong ICT skills, including Office 365 and other software packages used by the school.
  • Demonstrate high levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • Be able to adhere rigorously to confidentiality and GDPR regulations.
