Careers Adviser job summary

We seek to appoint a Careers Advisor for 6 hours per week on a Term Time Only basis to join our team at Barlby High school. This is a permanent position.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, inspirational individual, and who is passionate about outstanding education and developing the whole child.

This role will deliver impartial careers information, advice, guidance and support to pupils. The postholder will develop and deliver presentations and group learning through seminars, workshops and contribution to the tutorial programme in pupil career development. The successful application will undertake careers interviews with all students in Year 11 and Year 10, alongside selected KS 3 students to ensure all students have a clear progression plan inline with the Gatsby Benchmarks.
