37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday, Term Time only (including inset days) plus 1 week around results days/6th form admissions (40 working weeks)
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the future of students as part of our CEIAG (Careers Education Information Advice & Guidance) team.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Careers Advisor to support and guide young people making decisions about their careers.
About you
The successful candidate will:
have previous experience as a Careers Advisor or be looking for progression from a more junior role.
have a qualification in Careers Guidance and Development.
ideally have already worked in a school or college setting in a similar role.
have excellent communication skills as you will be a crucial point of contact with students, local businesses and further education establishments.
act as a role model to students so professionalism and confidentiality are key attributes.
