Careers and Employability Administrator job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Careers & Employability Administrator to join our School. This pivotal role will support the day-to-day running of the Careers & Employability department, ensuring the smooth delivery of administrative and operational processes.

Applicants should have a good standard of English, Mathematics (GCSE A*-C) and ICT and have the ability to remain calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will be polite and friendly with a neat and tidy appearance and have good organisational skills. You must have a confident approach to working with young people as well as a flexible attitude to work

Some of the Duties and Responsibilities Include

  • Organising the one to one careers guidance interviews
  • Communicating with the Area Advisors to inform them of the schedule
  • Issuing related paperwork to students and parents
  • Preparing and issuing Personal Summaries to students
  • Updating the careers database
  • Organising and recording Intended Destination and Destination Data, and liaising with form tutors and Essex County Council
  • Monitoring and organising the Careers Resource Area ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
