Careers & Marketing Officer
Connect MAT | Grade 3 | Based at Trust HQ
37 hours per week | Term time plus 2 weeks

We’re looking for a dynamic Careers & Marketing Officer to help us tell our story, engage our communities, and help inspire the next generation.
This is an exciting hybrid role where marketing meets meaningful impact—from running campaigns and creating content to supporting careers education and student opportunities across our schools.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting and delivering creative marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media
- Producing engaging content for websites, newsletters, and social platforms
- Helping manage and grow our online presence and brand
- Coordinating events such as open evenings, careers fairs, and community activities
- Supporting careers programmes, including work experience, employer engagement, and student events
- Working with colleagues and external partners to bring ideas to life
What we’re looking for
You’ll be:
- A confident communicator with strong written and digital skills
- Highly organised, able to juggle multiple priorities
- Creative, proactive, and full of ideas
- Comfortable using social media and IT systems
- Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
Experience in marketing, events, or education is a bonus—but your attitude, energy, and ability to deliver matter most.
Connect Multi-Academy Trust is legally obligated to process a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before making appointments to relevant posts. The DBS check will reveal both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and bind-overs as well as pending prosecutions, which aren't 'protected' under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and check to establish that a person is not barred from 'regulated activity' as defined by the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.
Please note that we operate a probationary period of 6 months across all jobs in the Trust (see attached policy for further details). You will receive a comprehensive induction to support you to successfully pass your probation.
