Careers Manager job summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of careers education and guidance for the College including managing the careers team, organising information events and overseeing our work experience programme.

Applicants should have a Level 6 qualification in careers advice and guidance, experience of working with young people, preferably in a School or College setting and a thorough knowledge of education, employment, training and personal development opportunities that are available for young people.

The post is 37 hours per week 8.30 – 4.30 Monday to Thursday and 8.30 to 4.00 on Fridays, term time only plus 1 week in the College holidays. Some occasional evening and Saturday work will be required to support information and open events. Part time hours or flexible working arrangements may be considered for suitable candidates, please indicate your preferences on your application form.
