Caretaker 17.5hrs job summary
St Joseph's Catholic Academy is looking to appoint a Caretaker for 17.5 hrs per week, working from 2:30 pm - 6 pm. As a School Caretaker, you will be a vital part of the school community, ensuring that the premises are safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained for students, staff, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who is practical, dependable, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and functional environment.
Your responsibilities will include the day-to-day upkeep of the school buildings and grounds, carrying out minor repairs, overseeing site security, and supporting the smooth running of school operations. You’ll also play a key role in setting up for events, managing deliveries, and ensuring that health and safety standards are consistently met.
This is a hands-on and rewarding role that requires initiative, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
