Caretaker job summary

Working Hours: 16 hours per week, over 2-5 days per week (7:30am - 3.45pm), 52 weeks per year.

Contract Type: Permanent

Payscale: H2-H3 (£22,737- £23,500 FTE) depending on experience

Responsible to: School Business Manager

Start Date: October 2024

We are looking for a highly practical and organised caretaker with an eye for detail to join our caretaking team. We need you to use your knowledge and experience to identify potential issues and work with the premises team to find solutions.

We have a modern purpose built school building (built in 2018) located on Clarendon Road in the centre of Watford. Many of our systems are controlled by computer based systems therefore being confident in the use of a computer and other electronic systems would also be an advantage.

We have built a strong dynamic team who are committed to creating a nurturing learning environment for all of our children.
