Caretaker job summary

We are looking to appoint a hardworking and reliable Caretaker to join our site team at Cloudside Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust. This role is essential in ensuring that our pupils and staff work in a secure, safe, and welcoming environment.

 

Main duties include:

  • to be a key holder and lock the premises
  • general maintenance
  • maintaining health and safety and COSSH
  • some cleaning duties as needed
  • liaising with contractors
  • portering

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
  • Has a good eye for detail and high standards
  • Can work independently as well as part of a team
  • Understands the importance of creating a secure, safe and clean environment for children
