Caretaker job summary

We wish to appoint a highly motivated Caretaker to join our enthusiastic team of professionals at St Aidan's CE Memorial School.

The Headteacher and Academy Council of this successful school are looking to appoint a flexible, self-motivated and reliable person to work in our busy and vibrant school.

We are looking for someone who will: -

  • Maintain our school environment to a high standard and with great pride to support children's learning
  • Work effectively as part of a dedicated team and be an excellent role model to our children
  • Be responsible for the safety and cleanliness of the site
  • Use their own initiative in recognising jobs that require attention
  • Plan and prioritise their workload, undertaking heavy lifting, moving and handling
  • Be pro-active with a positive and enthusiastic approach
  • Be willing to undertake training and development
