St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School, Bishop Auckland is looking to appoint a Caretaker. As a School Caretaker, you will be a vital part of the school community, ensuring that the premises are safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained for students, staff, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who is practical, dependable, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and functional environment.

Your responsibilities will include the day-to-day upkeep and cleaning of the school buildings and grounds, carrying out minor repairs, overseeing site security, and supporting the smooth running of school operations. You’ll also play a key role in setting up for events, managing deliveries, and ensuring that health and safety standards are consistently met. Hours of work will be split before and after school.

This is a hands-on and rewarding role that requires initiative, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
