What skills and experience we're looking for

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and conscientious Casual Committee Clerk to join the team at the Laurus Trust. In this role you will provide administrative and organisational support to the Local Academy Committee and provide advice on governance, constitutional and procedural matters.

Job Purpose

  • Provide guidance to ensure that the Committee works in compliance with the appropriate legal and regulatory framework, and understands the potential consequences for non-compliance.
  • Advise on procedural matters relating to the operation of the Local Academy Committee.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
  • Experience of working in an administrative capacity
  • Ability to organise complex material and appointments
