Key Requirements

  • Licence: Full UK driving licence with Category D1 entitlement (often required for vehicles over 3,500kg).
  • Experience: Previous experience driving larger vehicles or experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.
  • Checks: An enhanced DBS check will be required

  • Certification: MIDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) training is preferred, or the willingness to undertake it.

Job Responsibilities

  • Transporting special needs children to various trips / locations ie swimming / golf / park etc.

  • Performing regular vehicle checks (fuel, lights, safety).

  • Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
  • Assisting passengers onto the vehicle
