Casual School Minibus Driver (Qualified – D1) job summary

Now Hiring: Casual School Minibus Driver

Are you a safe and reliable driver with a passion for working with kids? We're looking for a Casual School Minibus Driver to join our team and help transport students safely and on time.

This is a rewarding, community-focused role ideal for someone looking for flexible, part-time work — perfect for early risers or semi-retirees!

The appointed member of staff will be required to undertake all relevant training courses for the role including safeguarding and proficiency driving test in line with our insurance provider requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Driving a school minibus (17 seat) on an adhoc basis to meet the school events needs

To be a supportive staff member while out on school events, representing the Alderman White school

Maintaining a friendly and professional attitude with students and staff

Carrying out basic safety checks and reporting any issues

Keeping the vehicle clean and road-ready

What You’ll Need:

To be 21 year old or older (but under 70 years old)

Had your driving license for at least 2 years

A full, clean UK driving license with D1 or PCV entitlement.

A current DBS background check (or willingness to obtain one)

Friendly, calm, and patient manner — especially with children

Punctuality and reliability

Bonus Points For:
