Catering Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Catering Assistant to work in our fast-paced busy kitchen at Oak Academy, where we freshly prepare and cook healthy meals, deliver meals to our other academies and serve these to students and staff on site.
The role will include food preparation, driving a van, manual handling, operation of a computerised till system, basic cleaning and general duties in and around dining areas. You will ensure the safety and general welfare of pupils during the break periods.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to; relate to children and adults, to work as part of a team and to conduct a positive attitude in the workplace.
The successful candidate will be someone who is hard-working, well-organised, holds a full clean driving licence and committed to working as part of a team.
