Position: Catering Assistant
Hours: Part-Time - 15 hours per week - Working hours are 12pm-3pm Monday-Friday
Contract Type: Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)
Location: Astrea Academy Sheffield (Secondary Phase)

Are you passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced, friendly environment? Astrea Academy Sheffield is a vibrant, inclusive secondary school serving a diverse community. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to support our busy school kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Support stock rotation and basic food storage procedures.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth lunchtime service.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with young people.
  • Can follow food hygiene and safety procedures.
  • Is flexible, punctual, and a good team player.
  • Has previous catering experience (desirable but not essential).
